#026 // 26.06 - 02.07

This is the 26th post on this blog. The title gives that away, so that's not really the interesting bit. The interesting bit is that this marks the half way point through 2017.

It's been a pretty good year so far! It's also already feeling like a great decision to have posted each and every week since January. I'm taking more photos than ever, and I'm still really enjoying going through the motions of getting the photos from the memory card to the camera, especially so on my new laptop. I spoke to Amy and my Dad about this blog, and they both said they were surprised that I was still going. So little faith! Though, I don't blame them.

As well as being the half-way mark in 2017, this is week was also the start of my role as Shopper Marketing Executive at graze. It's been so refreshing moving away from Customer Service, into a role with scope for progression, as well as a huge opportunity for learning and developing my career. It's been a long week, but a really great one too. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to move into the Retail team, and what a great team they are.

This week was the end of an era for us too. It was the week we said bye bye to our (un)trusty 207CC. I had a real love-hate relationship with that car. One one hand, it was fun to drive and amazing in the sun with the roof down. On the other hand, it's been nothing but trouble, with countless trips to various mechanics, three breakdowns and more bloody warning beeps than you could ever imagine. I'm definitely going to miss it, but hopefully, the Aveo (thanks Mum & Dad) will be more plain sailing for us!

Anyway, enough words. Here are some photos from the weekend!

Another trip to Kent. More photos of Scout. A sunburnt neck. Too much pizza. Good company. Great day.

After a quick visit to Amy's Nan, we met back up with my parents, sister and her boyfriend, as well as the three dogs, and headed over to Ramsgate. I've not visited Ramsgate for several years, and now I really want to go back. There's a great beach, open to dogs all year round which is only a short walk from the harbour, which holds bars, cafes and a pretty cool motorbike shop.
